The AJA IPT-10G2-HDMI mini converter is designed to convert HDMI HD signals to an SMPTE ST 2110 network.

The IPT-10G2-HDMI receives baseband HD video and 8 channels of embedded audio over a full-size HDMI 1.4b interface, then formats the data for output in SMPTE ST 2110 format over 10 GigE. The associated audio from the video stream is extracted, synchronized, and embedded into the SMPTE ST 2110 stream. Alternatively, stereo audio can be embedded from the included RCA inputs.

2x SFP+ 10 GigE cages are provided, enabling « no-drop » redundancy protection (ST 2022-7) for critical transmission environments.

HDMI sources to anywhere on an SMPTE ST 2110 network

With the new IPT-10G2-HDMI integration based on installations often requiring IP with traditional baseband sources provides a simple solution to convert HDMI sources, then format and transmit via ST 2110 IP to deliver this content to a range of destinations.

User control

The IPT-10G2-HDMI mini-converter provides two main control methods. The Ethernet Control LAN port allows you to control the mini-converter from web browsers on any platform and from REST clients. The mini-USB connector facilitates quick initial network setup and firmware updates.

Universal power supply. Compact and portable.

All AJA mini converters come with a universal power supply including international connectors so they can be used worldwide.

AJA mini converters are compact and portable, small enough to fit behind a monitor, on the back of a rack, or directly on a camera mount. A locking power connector prevents accidental disconnection, and an optional P-TAP power cable allows for battery charging in remote locations.
