The Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports (Leica L) is an ultra-powerful telephoto zoom lens, ideal for wildlife, sports, and landscape photography. Designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras, it delivers high-quality image rendering throughout the zoom range at all apertures, and ghosting, flare, and various types of aberrations are all well controlled.
An updated and redesigned autofocus system offers both speed and accuracy by incorporating a stepper motor-driven AF actuator and a high-precision magnetic sensor.
Optical image stabilization offers approximately 4 stops of compensation, with two standard operating system modes for handheld and panning shooting situations.
A new zoom resistance selector has been integrated, with which you can change the resistance of the zoom ring and lock it at the widest focal length, ensuring ease of use of the zoom and eliminating zoom drift.
Additional controls on the lens include a focus limiter switch, an OS switch, a custom switch, and three customizable AFL buttons.
Part of the Sigma Global Vision Sports lens lineup, the 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS lens is specifically designed for everyday use in demanding conditions. A dust- and splash-proof construction protects the lens from water and dust ingress, while a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element resists moisture and fingerprints. The lens body is constructed from aluminum and TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) for consistent performance across a range of temperatures. Additionally, it features a magnesium tripod collar compatible with Arca-Swiss mounts. The tripod collar is removable and can be replaced with an optional lens base (replaceable base type) or mounted directly onto a monopod.
