The Tilta Pro Cage for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K/12K is designed to offer optimal protection and maximum flexibility in your shooting setups. Thanks to its modular design, it consists of five distinct parts: Side Plate, Top Plate, Left Side Arm, Right Side Arm, and Bottom Plate. Each plate can be used independently to adapt to all shooting needs, while respecting the camera’s ventilation openings to ensure uncompromised cooling.
This cage features external SSD compatibility with a dedicated bracket on the side plate, accommodating hard drives from 52 to 60 millimeters wide and less than 12 millimeters thick. It also allows for the mounting of accessories via its multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads, as well as smartphone clamps for easy livestream setups.
The vertical alignment is particularly well done: the Bottom Plate includes threads positioned to perfectly align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens when used in vertical orientation.
