The Z-Finder Recoil Rig for Sony FX6 is a shoulder rig specifically designed for the Sony FX6 camera, offering optimal balance and maximum comfort when used on the shoulder or on a tripod. This next-generation rig adjusts the balance point so the camera sits behind you, repositioning the focus, monitoring, and camera controls forward. This creates a lighter, shorter, and properly balanced setup.
The kit includes a VCT Pro base, a Rosette Trigger Grip, a 34.3 cm LANC extension cable, an FX6 top plate, an FX6 Z-Finder viewfinder with LCD Axis adapter, and an FX6 grip mount. This setup is ideal for using Sony’s LCD screen while providing optimal stability.
Main components:
- VCT Pro : This base features a sliding top plate for quick camera removal from the rig or lens changes. It has an integrated curved pad, a corner tripod connector (with 1/4″ 20 and 3/8″ 16 screw options), and removable, extendable 16.5 cm iris rods.
- Sony Trigger Grip : Relocates the Sony FX6 camera grip to a comfortable position. The grips are adjustable and rotate independently through 360°.
- FX6 Top Plate : Fits around the Sony top grip and includes removable 15mm rod locks, a Z-Rail, and numerous 1/20 mounting holes.
- FX6 Z-Finder with LCD Axis Adapter : Provides a fold-down frame that attaches to the FX6 LCD and a locking bracket to attach to Sony’s proprietary grip mount.
