A quality recognized by the ZEISS brand
ZEISS CP.3 lenses offer a perfect combination of high image quality and ease of use. They showcase the expertise for which ZEISS is renowned, with an interchangeable mount system and full-frame coverage.
A truly cinematic feel
ZEISS CP3 lenses feature advanced lens coatings, painted lens rims, and special light traps to eliminate reflected glare. The result is higher contrast, richer blacks, and more saturated colors.
ZEISS eXtended Data technology
The ZEISS CP.3 XD version is characterized by innovative optical technology that accelerates and simplifies the workflow on set and in post-production.
ZEISS eXtended Data technology is unique and based on /i Technology, enabling real-time information on image distortion and shadow characteristics. With ZEISS CP.3 XD lenses, even small, budget-conscious productions can access cutting-edge technology used in big-budget films, TV series, and advertising. ZEISS eXtended Data processing options
The ZEISS CP.3 XD provides a complete solution for recording data to an application on set or in post-production. ZEISS eXtended data is recorded and processed frame by frame in real time. Data can be transferred in two ways: either to any compatible equipment via an external LEMO®* compatible socket, or to any camera compatible with the i/ standard technology via a 4-pin interface (PL-mount). The additional ZEISS plug-in, compatible with leading compositing and editing software, allows lens characteristics to be removed and/or reapplied to images.
